I managed to get 2 tickets for the 5th!
Good luck to the rest of you. If you arranged to buy any of a tout then I hope you get tickets for the new date instead. It would be nice if all their sales were fucked up. |

Just some hints for the next time the Pixies tix go online (this is how I scored a couple today)
Everytime you get to a certain part in the online transaction, click - Refresh until you get a response (it will be delayed). You may have to re-enter the info again, but I finally made it through the ordeal and scored. |

I logged on to ticketweb at 9am but it had already crashed. Luckily wayahead was working fine.
The nice lady from Brixton Academy let me know last night that they were going on sale or I would have missed out again. |

I got lucky too as I haven't been checking the past couple of days, then a friend told me that they announced the 1st couple of Brixton shows were sold out. I was incredibly perplexed about this. So I went home to verify and saw the other 2 shows......

The only thing that I am confused about is the standing room aspect. I am assuming that Brixton is all-standing?

capacity is ~4300
3700 of those are stalls standing and the remainder are 1st floor circle unresearved seating/standing.

I love the Brixton Academy, it's a great venue.
I looked on ebay around 10am this morning and the touts had already posted tickets for the 4th and 5th. Bastards.
Hope you all enjoy the gig. I've never seen them live before!!! |

Hey guys,
I was pretty pissed by that as well.
Then I realised they were supporting the Peppers and I already have tickets 
Seriously, instead of paying one of these f_cking ebay touts something like £200 a ticket, go to Paris!!!
The tickets will go on sale on www.fnac.com at 9am (so 8am here) on the 23rd. They cost 33€, plus of course the eurostar but it's still going to be cheaper.
Besides you can enjoy Paris at the same time, which is a beautiful place (and no I'm not saying that only because I'm French)
Anyway, that's what I'm going to do...

So why aren't names printed on tickets and ID asked for on the doors? No more touts!

i'd take a few deep breaths...
the gig isn't for 4 months....
i've got a gig on wednesday that i haven't got my ticket for yet!
they probly won't send out the tickets for another couple of months atleadt.
