According to Pollstar.com the Pixies are in a So-Cal rehearsal studio practicing right now as we speak:

Anybody have any ideas on where they are? I dont think I can fall asleep knowing the Pixies could be rocking out as I type this!!!

They've rocked out before this, though. Privately and not for the public. Frank talks about it in an interview, I forget which one. It should be interesting to hear them, though...
