| does anyone know if the pixies are planning on touring or even rumoured to be touring australia? also apart from coachella are there any other confirmed/rumoured north american gigs? |

I'm hoping they play Big Day Out next Feb as my chances of making Coachella have fallen through due to the fact it is not possible to get a cheap flight to LA at the end of April due to the fact it is so close to a Chinese holiday.... Almost everything in China is cheaper than the west, except fucking international flights!!! Man I'm so fucking pissed off.
I should be in Australia next year at the beginning of Feb so I am holding onto the slim possibility that Pixies play BDO.
Who's the man that won't cop out when there's danger all about? |

hate to be a pessismist, but its doubtful.....but i hope that they do. Our friends in the US and Europe have got lots to be happy about, though.
i saw the breeders last yr in Sydney. FB was coming down to do solo shows in OZ in Aug, but he cancelled. His gig sold out in a day or so in Sydney (Annandale Hotel).
i know someone who works at the metro and may know of any news......
Message to the band: the Aussie Dollar is looking good against the US dollar, so its a good time to come down.......(sorry to get economic on y'all......but there are fans here in OZ!!!! Pixies have never been here!!!!!)

I saw the breeders play in Perth but i really cant see the pixies coming to BDO and especially not a Perth BDO. I'm currently brainstorming things i can sell so i can go to Coachella, donations welcome.  |
