Has anyone heard any Pixies songs on their local radio stations? With the "Official" announcement that he band's back together, now would be an excellent time to up those requests, and actually have a chance to get the songs played.
Locally we have a "vintage vault" lunch hour, that i have requested some tunes on. (actually i asked for the "triumvorate of Pixies, Frank Black, and the Breeders").
If you want to expose others in your area to it, this seems to be the way to go. Plus, it'll put a few more dimes in the groups pockets. |

I've heard "Gigantic" and "Monkey Gone To Heaven" played fairly recently, but that was before the reunion was official, and there was no mention of them. I also heard "The Snake" on Sunday night, and the DJ identified Frank as a former Pixie, but didn't mention the reunion.

Doesn't the X station in Atlanta have like a "House of Retro Pleasure" or something? i could have sworn i hear the Pixies on there, whilst driving thru on my way back to B-ham. |
