Hi!
Personally I prefer the Title TK setup, I went to see them at Santiago, Chile, the past year and I was amazed with the power in the performance of the songs. In fact, the songs sounds better live than in the LP's. In this concert we had lucky beacause Kim sang Gigantic!!!!...the theatre almost collapsed!!!...hummmm......very good memories!!! :)
That's Breeders configuration was powerfull, had attitude, very punk sound and they were very friendly with the audience.

well, first you gotta have the good lookin guys, basically mando and britt, and then you gotta have the twins, and tanya's gotta be there, and richard is pretty darn cool so he's gotta be in there. i wish jim mcpherson was back in gbv tho. actually, lets throw kim out of there. they don't need her.

I agree with Benji. Pod is one of favorite records of all time. "Iris" kills me. Even the Safari EP was damn good (I have no idea what the lineup is)...Im still searching for that Safari video that looks like the Black Sabbath "Paranoid" television clip.
Anyone know how much of that first record Kim was responsible for, and how much Tanya Donnely (sigh..) was responsible for?

the lineup for the safari ep was the same as for pod except Kelley had joined the band.
and Shannon Doughton's name had changed to Mike Hunt, whereas it was still actually Britt Walford.
and now i agree with interloper, "pod" is also one of my alltime favourite records, and would be the top of my list of all post-pixies releases.
cook me some fucking eggs! |
