where the Pixies are coming from? Do you mean it in the sense that they were a "college radio" band and people who actually went to college and had a brain as opposed to some high school dropout junkie who just decided to start playing guitar?
Nah, Just people who don't see the humourous side of them, or appreciate the Pixies' more original musical elements.
I heard this 311 song (I'm not a big fan of theirs, to say the least)... and at one point, they're rapping something like "I play Panchinko, I play Pacheesi...like Frank Black"
That is a very loose paraphrase, but maybe someone else knows what song this actually is? I was surprised to hear such a lame band citing the Man, but what can ya do
