Unfortunately, I'm a parasite.
Myself and my fellow carbon based life-forms as individuals but particularly as a whole, will destroy, murder and consume anything that is unfortunate enough to stand in our path. Our sole purpose on this host is to consume what we consider is put there for our consumption. Which is, everything. Animate or inanimate. You see, we have a book some other parasites wrote that tells us so. Unfortunately for us parasites, Mother Nature can, and will, deal with us. If things become out of balance, she will eventually put them back in balance.
Note to self: Flowers smell pretty... For now |

I think eventually we will garner enough arrogance to temporarily "subdue" mother nature, and then we'll all celebrate the fact that we have "conquered" her. But then, she'll send some disaster our way, if nothing else an innate tendency she implanted our entire race with from day one to destroy ourselves, and we'll find out the price for our folly.
Maybe the entire human race is an example for some other species of what NOT to do.
