Good choice, mirv. That one is fucked up indeed. Anyone mentioned Man Bites Dog? Not sure about the exact title though. It's a belgian movie done like a false documentary about a hitman. It's supposed to be funny but I couldn't watch it in its entirety, it's so sick.
man bites dog - that brings me back. i remember the part when they go into the kitchen and cut the woman up - its probably one of two movie scenes that truly upset me - the other being the soap bar beating in full metal jacket. great film - better than blair witch too cheers
if a man is alone in a wood and there is no woman around to hear him - is he still wrong?
The toughest movie to watch must have been a movie called 'Crazy'. Do not watch if you are sensitive. It is a movie/documentary about most people's worst thoughts. Thoughts you may never have thought of before and may never think of again. I watched it at the Toronto Film Festival two years ago. More than half of the theatre walked out within the first twenty minutes. Very disturbing. I have thought about it about almost weekly since then. It has definatley taught me . A tough way to learn....but sometimes that is the only way to learn. Might be tough to find though.
i think AUDITION is probably the most disturbing film i've seen in a *while*.. and i see lots of films.. brilliant film by Japanese filmmaker Takeshi Miike. check it out if you haven't.. unless you're scared.
