Seeing as FB is(or was)something of a UFO enthusiast, I was wondering what anybody's views are on Communion author Whitley Strieber. He appeared on an Irish chat show when the book first came out. they faded the Communion grey-alien face up onto the screen, and it scared the shit out of me! I've always had a fear aliens/alien abduction and stuff (terrified of the end of Close Encounters as a child!), though I'm a bit of a sceptic now. However, I've read Communion and it's sequel, Transformation and I like the Communion movie; Christopher Walken is great in it. Anyway, any other sky-watchers out there?

Definately. Even if it's total bullshit, the Communion film is fantastic on it's own. I for one read the book years ago and it creeped the hell out of me. If it's not true, he certainly took the most scientific approach possible to try and explain what happened to him, getting Budd Hopkins involved and what not. As far as aliens, sure it seems ridiculous, but the law of probabilty makes it undeniable.
True cynics are nothing more than dissapointed idealists. |

Yeah, it's like a creepy work-of-fiction given an edge by 'true story' implications....really creepy, atmospheric movie, too..."Is that someone there?"(Whitley under hypnosis)..."Stay away!" You gotta dig Walken! Horray for pear-shaped muckas!
