"A Treatise on Cosmic Fire" by Todd Rundgren? Seems like a legitimate guess seeing as though the song is 36 minutes long. I think a band called Jerusalem did a 58 minute song called "Sleep". I like "Los Angeles" by Frank Black.

The essence of rock...that Breakfast At Tiffiny's song. Crash Test Dummies. The Rembrandts. Lisa Loeb.
Sarcasm is being imployed here.

The blues, collectively, is that from which rock is distilled

I think if you ever want to alienate your friends or clear a room, blast Run To The Hills. Or wear an Eddy T-shirt.

Black Sabbath is the essence of something, more like true HEAVY METAL and smoking a big fat joint or maybe some fudgy hash. This dude in a band called bongzilla had the best t-shirt, it said "Listen to Black Sabbath." Preach on, brother! I love Sabbath
