a great band that does a great version of 'mr grieves'.

seek out thier 'young liars' ep and ye shall find it.

it amazes me how deep the pixies legacy penetrates into modern music.

I was considering this one too but I wasn't sure how it would be. I heard (or read) that Mr. Grieves is hardly distinguishable. Good, you say?

I've listened to a few of their songs and wasn't immediately taken by them. They seem to have nice ideas, but the singer bored me and the songs I heard weren't very melodic.

I actually didn't care for their cover of Mr. Grieves, though I respect them for doing a less trendy track (i.e. not WIMM).

Well, I ordered it at the local CD shop and they said it was on backorder. Not sure when it will arrive. Gotta hear it for myself.
