Dose anybody have any queries/answers about they meaning of those wonderful Franciscan lyrics? I'd like to know the story behind No.13 Baby. I have a vague feeling Break My Body is about abortion....come on,gang, get y'replies in!!!!!

He says on a solo bootleg that No. 13 Baby refers to some game played by Spanish Americans/Mexicans (I think), called Viva la Loma Rica ("Long Live the Rich Hill", whatever that means), as in "[VIVA!] Don't want no blue eyes! [LA LOMA!] I want brown eyes! [RICA!]"... I couldn't find anything about this game on a web search though. I'm sure there's more to the song than that, though ("stripes on her eyes"?!!!)...
I don't think Break My Body is about anything at all.

 Thanks for the info....I've always wondered about that one. Some of his lyrics are actually pretty face-value, but that's one of those 'litle story' ones!

I think there was talk about eventually collating lyric interpretations or at least references and definitions, into the song DB here - but that obviously is a huge undertaking, and dunno what kind of timetable it is on, if it even is on a table....maybe flopping around on the floor?
Sorry, I don't know about No. 13 Baby or Break My Body :( - I would also love to know...

Umm...I think there was another topic on this a long time ago. I guess having a nipple tattooed with "13" means a gang connection, a mexican gang or something. I'm not quite sure if that's right...memory is vague...
