oh, and to anyone who has it and can't find the video to 'my kind of soldier' in the videos section of the dvd, there is instructions how to find them on gbv.com- i think you scroll to bulldog skin, hit left, and when a red dog or something appears, press enter on the remote.
signatures suck. |

Yes, and it is great. And my limited edition super-collectible GbV 2004 Calender. And a vial of Bob's sweat.

I didn't get it Jessie. There doesn't seem to be enough new material on it to justify spending 85 bones. Are the "rarities" really worth it? Should I pick it up? |

I've never heard Guided By Voices. What kind of music are they?

I bought the GbV best-of (Human Amusements At Hourly Rates) before Christmas and I really like it. I thought it would be a good start, given that there are so many albums by them.

It's definitely for the hardcore only, but I found it to be well worth it...for instance, I already had pretty much all the Matador 7"s, and still a lot of the stuff on the singles disc was unheard to me. The live disc is awesome, Forever Since Breakfast is awesome, and the rarities disc is pretty cool too.
