don't know if anyone cares, but i thought the debaser tab could use some work. Santiago's lead bit goes something like
e------------------------------------------- b-10-10-10-11-11-11-11-12-12-12-11-11-11-11- g-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-12-12-12-10-10-10-10- d-10-10-10-------------12-12-12------------- a------------------------------------------- e-------------------------------------------

Chestnuts forever
This is what I've always played:
Lead Guitar (during verse) |--------------------------------------------------| |--10-10-10--11-11-11-11-10--10-10-10--11-11-11-11-| |--10-10-10--10-10-10-10-10--12-12-12--10-10-10-10-| |--10-10-10--10-10-10-10-10--10-10-10--10-10-10-10-| |--------------------------------------------------| |--------------------------------------------------|
Sounds good to me.
And for the outro:
Lead Guitar (4x) |--------------------------------------------------| |--10-10-10--11-11-11-11-10--10-10-10--11-11-11-11-| |--10-10-10--10-10-10-10-10--12-12-12--10-10-10-10-| |--10-10-10--10-10-10-10-10--10-10-10--10-10-10-10-| |--------------------------------------------------| |--------------------------------------------------| (4x) |--13-13-13--13-13-13-13-13--13-13-13--13-13-13-13-| |--10-10-10--11-11-11-11-10--10-10-10--11-11-11-11-| |--10-10-10--10-10-10-10-10--12-12-12--10-10-10-10-| |--10-10-10--10-10-10-10-10--10-10-10--10-10-10-10-| |--------------------------------------------------| |--------------------------------------------------| [play similar to below with tremolo picking] |-----------------------------------------------| |-----------------------------------------------| |--10~~~~-----------------10\12-12(12)/10-10-10-| |-----------------------------------------------| |-----------------------------------------------| |-----------------------------------------------|
The whole tab is here: http://www.arnoldjacksontheband.com/pixdootab.htm
And has been since 1999, I think. Plenty of other songs at the main tab section of the site. B-sides and bass tabs too. Drum tabs coming soon. Or as soon as I find the time.

i thought it was gonna be new different cool accurate tabs, but they're just the same tabs you can find anywhere else on the internet.
i love frankblack.net's tabs because they're much more individual. |

how nice of you to say.
anyway, when i started tabbing almost ten years ago and putting shit up on the internet, the stuff was a little more novel. besides, you mean more individual because they have names on them? how is this better? the way i see it as a player, who cares who did it if it's incomplete and/or wrong.
not saying fb.net's tabs are. some of them (mgth, for example) are mine, in fact. it's just in some cases (like debaser) they don't include certain parts that i've tabbed out earlier and put up on my old, admittedly outdated site. when that happens (as it did today) i try and be nice and point it out.
there are a lot of other tabs up on the site that aren't here in fact. but i'm sort of through pointing them out. good luck.

A few weeks ago I figured out a better way to play the intro. I need to update that.
I visited the hey cafe a long time ago. I liked how the tabs were organized if I remember.

Hey if you actually tabbed them then that's good. i wasn't really expressing my dislike for the tabs themselves, just the fact that about 20 sites have the same tabs. It's refreshing that on fb.net, the tabs are unlike any other I've seen. Not nessesarily better, but it's good to have more than one opinion on something. If I find a problem with one tab, I can compare it to another...
edit: actually taking more time to look at them, (before i had one look at that tame 'tab' that i've seen fifty thousand times before and i gave up), they're actually pretty unique. |
