I recently purchased a pretty damn cheap digital camera although its limited Ive had some fun fuckin about with video side of things and I put together very crudely and very tongue in cheek a little video with my brother and a friend. I guess its one of those things were its only amusing if you know me and stuff but I put it on the web anyhoos. Feel free to have a look. It is poor quality be warned.

I wanted to watch it, but it just comes through as encoded text. Any help? (I'm on a mac)

It didn't automatically come through as a valid application for any of the media players I've got either. I had to actually go to Windows Media Player, navigate to the file, and open it that way. I don't know if Quicktime would read it or not; WMP seems to recognize alot more file types than Quicktime.

::edit:: Thanks Malax and glacial,:: I just found out my Windows Media Player should work. I'll take another hack at it once your bandwidth suspension goes away. :) Must be a good movie.

Hey, I saw it! haha - funny stuff. You might want to work on the dialogue a little. ;) (maybe you could make it like a silent film, with little dialogue interludes, and player piano-style Frank Black covers heheheh)
btw, it didn't work w/WMP on my Mac - I could only get sound for some reason, so I watched it on my husband's pc.

Yeah I had been thinking about that but it didnt quite work with the song I wanted in the film. I was thinking of doing a Japanese/Kill Bill style parody with and record the voices after the film for that real poor voice dubbing effect. Throw in some clever use of blood and I have me a Oscar winner. |
