I would say The Pitts. That an episode of this mind-numbing worthless garbage ever was aired on television is evidence of a severe decline in the intelligence level of humans and network executives. Just my opinion. |

As far as Adult Swim cartoons go, I'd have to say that "Home Movies" is hands-down the absolute crappiest cartoon I have ever seen. It looks bad AND it's not funny.

glacial, what do you know? Home Movies is the best. It's either you get it or you don't...obviously you don't. I know some people who don't get it either. It's great.
The Pitts...I could tell by the commercial that it'd be horrible. If you watch enough TV, you can generally spot a bomb when you see one. That 80's Show...called it. The Pitts...called it. There have been too many truely shitty shows to list.

Dude I try not to be too antagonistic, if you want to start shit then go on with your bad self. Obviously I'm too stupid to figure out the humor in that lame-ass show, just as you are too ignorant to understand all the effort and love that goes into movies like "Finding Nemo" and "Lord of the Rings." So why not just agree to disagree? Jesus, you have not had anything positive to say to me since I was jerking your chain on the IRC about the Simpsons. (And, yes, I really do LOVE the Simpsons, I was just saying that to fuck with you.)

I agree with the finding Nemo but that's it.
Home movies is pretty cool, it's that dry, sarcastic humour that kinda takes a long time to get where it's going..but I like it.
And Has anyone ever heard of Clone High??? I'm not saying it's a bad show, it's actually very funny but I just want to know If I'm the only one in here that knows it exists...that would be a shame.

What is the name of the show with Kelly Ripa and the other country woman? Now that show sucks ass! Forget about naming it. I don't even want to know. God, what a mistake watching it for a couple of moments while I looked for the converter. Made my skin crawl.

Yikes, I think someone took something a bit too literally. I keep forgetting that you can't catch sarcasm or my evil grin over the net. I wasn't being serious nor calling you stupid, I'm just pointing out that some people just don't *get* Home Movies...that's fine. It's an excellent show, though, certainly not deserving of the worst show ever title.

Sorry if I overreacted, but it's difficult to judge sometimes when people are just fucking around and when they actually are trying to insult your intelligence. (Believe it or not, that DOES happen on this forum sometimes!) Your response, El Barto, just seemed a little bit arrogant, sorry for the negativity. Maybe I'm just still shell-shocked from the Swimmer, Ebb Vicious and Hordak. Anyway, sorry.

The Pitts was sooo awful. Why couldn't they just leave poor Andy Richter on the air?

It was on Fox last year as a midseason replacement for Andy Richter and it was the most craptacular show I've ever seen. It wasn't even so-bad-it's-good--just unwatchably bad.

The Simpsons.... I'm bound to get a slating for this but I really cannot stand it for the reason that in my first year of Uni my housemates would watch an hour or so of it everyday. This was at the same time as Monkey, so I missed out as there were more people who wanted to watch The Simpsons. Not only that, but my housemates would sit there and laugh at the party that were not at all funny, like everytime that Homer said 'Doh.' Some of it I agree was funny but not everything, and at the end of the day Monkey is much better.

Maybe you Brits can help me out on this one. Actually, the very worst show I've ever seen was in England circa 1989-1990, and the premise involved aliens who traveled the galaxy "disguised as dining chairs" (which I believe was a line in the title song.) It was the most horrifically boring thing I've ever seen--these dining chairs with crudely animated eyes and mouths. It may have been a children's show. The name escapes me.

Just about any show with the exception of The Simpsons, TNT's Monstervision w/ Joe Bob Briggs (which isn't on anymore), or Conan bores the hell out of me. Okay, that's not necessarily true, but I haven't had TV in a LONG time, and those are the only shows I really miss. I'm not a big television fan anymore. I'm a fairly big Television fan, though.

Replacing Andy Richter with The Pitts has to be the biggest bitchslap in television history. Replacing an honestly hilarious show with an obvious piece of shit...I wonder who the fuck is working quality control at FOX these days.

Actually, I could see some faults with Andy Richter. There were a lot of weird awkward bits that didn't make any sense, seemed as if no actual thought was put forth, and were, imo, totally unnecessary (like the "pirate on wheels" or the "I'm a retarded kangaroo"). Regardless, there were still many great moments that I'm laughing at from just thinking about right now. ("Shanghai, 1941. Also has nothing to do with this show.") It'd be great if they at least showed some reruns on Comedy Central, becuase I know that channel has done that before with some shows that didn't last on network television (for instance, sports night, the critic). That '80s show...man I forgot about that one. I'm sure if I went back and looked some old tapes memories of a lot of old shows will be provoked.
By the way, am I capable of deleting this topic? I was when I first made it. Not that I want to, I'm just a little confused. |

'NYPD Blue' has to be a nominee. I admit I was a fan the first few years, but they've now been doing the SAME episodes over and over for TEN YEARS. The only changes are in the cast, the stories are all the same. |
