Anyone have a guess on what the significance of this song is? What does he mean by Caribou?

Dunno what caribou means but the song going on about god and sins etc-repent!,bit of animism and possibly reincarnation

this was talked about before if i remember rightly, someone came up with the idea that a caribou had been turned into a man or something....
