If I played music I always thought I would name my band "Koboyashi Maru." (All you sci-fi geeks should know the origin of that one!)

Where do you think you heard it? Maybe I subconsciously got it from something else. Let me think of another back up band in case...

Nothing came up on google for Brilliant Space Taco. But a few things came up for "Space Taco." I don't think they were bands though.

Brilliant Space Taco would be great for a band, song, album, or record label. Not too fond of Temporary Tissue, though. Anyway, here are some that i compiled:
The Congenital Deformities Astral Plane Crash (Vovat is Awesome) The Explicit Prophecies The Orbital Velocity The Xanthic Ovals The Pollution Age Disorderly Conduct The Idiot Clowns (to quote Larry David) The Dimensions Gone Chunky (a slogan for a brand of cookies. Be the perfect name for a fat band) The Wet Nurses The Insanities The Epitomes The Initials The Infantiles (I know 'infantile' is an adjective, but so is 'special', and there was a band called the specials) The Paradox The Ablums (I am aware of the spelling) The Fumes The Is The Ignobles The Nomenclatures The Schwas (This is my favorite. Sounds like a Rohald Dahl but it’s actually a real word in the English language)
Some of them are probably already taken...I don't know.

Temporary Tissue is very funny. My band names are Dogs on the House and Typical Boy. Typical Boy would be my punk all girl band and will go on tour with my friends Belle and Sebastian whiney style duo named Token Boyfriend.
Good times. |

One of my old band names was Derek and the Aquaintances. I don't use that anymore though. And when I say band name I mean myself trying to pretend like i have other members.

Call your band the Vomit Belchers. Then you've got a great idea for a stage gimmick, too.

i've always thought "Stool Sample" would be a good name for a band.
maybe you could call youself "Derek and the Stool Samples"
one of my favorite band names, just for the sake of a band name, is an LA band called (drum roll)..
Midget Handjob
i think that scores points for inspired band naming.. |

ha. The Stool Samples.
Or I could use Derek and the Dominoes (Pizza Delivery Boys).
The Shamrockers (just did a google search and there are a couple bands with that name already. Pfff.. it's stupid anyway and I came up with it in 5 seconds. Those people probably took weeks to come up with it.)
The Abrasive Flapjacks
The Extra Terrace Trial Band
The Crayons
And a real band I was in that played cover songs like FB and weezer for a coffee house. We rocked... Daff Putty and the Cheese Huffing Bingo Buns

I'm too cool to go check, but if this is the one with Big Nife (and the intentional misspelling) you're right. They had a few great ones, and the logos were sweet too.
