Er, going back to the main topic...they gotta reform, man! It would be a dream come true, a second chance after never seeing them before they split....then again Kim Deal and Frank ain't exactly mates, right?

I'm 16 and Irish. Oh yeah!
I don't that's too rare though, there's at least 5 people my age at school who like the pixies and even one who likes frank black...

Even the Irish TV guide has mentioned the Pixies reunion. Weird.

Yeah watching that episode was one of the funniest 30 minutes (or so) of my life.

Yeah, me too! I got people to sign my guestbook who never listened to the Pixies (and still never have...)

Which was nice.

Hey,
OK its been a while since I posted anything on this forum. Right well I'm also Irish, was a big Pixies fan for years through my brother and like must people here have influenced everyone near me to try them out. Right first of Guinness is an aquired taste, if you don't like it doesn't mean its not nice. Second a mate of mine who used to work for the Mean Fiddeler (who organise the Reading/Leeds fest pretty much) told me that a Pixies reunion was penciled in for the 2001 festival which of course never came about. I think Janes Addiction got took there place in the line up. Anywho same mate told me he would ask some old friends of his if there is any chance of the rumours been true. To end on a quick dreamy note... David Bowie is doing a huge Fest tour in europe this summer also. Imagine a Frankie/Davie song together. Anyway I got to go pee...

I just have to throw in my "props" for that Family Guy moment too. I nearly pissed myself when I saw it...you don't see it coming, it's fucking genius.

I'm glad I mentioned it now. It's nice to know I have made some people smile, it certainly made me smile to think about it again.

Fraqnk Black and the Catholics played the Reading Festival in 2001. I saw them, that's probaly why your friend thought the Pixies were having a reunion maybe? I also saw The Breeders at Reading the next year. woo.
