Well actually, I doubt if this info is interesting to the majority of this board. We all know this stuff ages ago.
And the real dutch article wasn't as cold as the translation, although I have to admit it wasn't warm either.
Anyway, I still think it was a good idea to not translate useless information.

No, the information is nothing new, of course. I just wanted to note the eloquence with which this info was put forth. Lyricism to rival the Frank.

I happened to mention to a friend of mine in the music world that I heard rumors to the effect that the Pixies would be getting back together and he said that he had heard from a friend that had a brother who was a booking agent that the Pixies were looking for a place to play in Omaha. a friend of mine told me that his cousin met a guy in a bar who knew this dude who's brother was an intern at a radio station in oklahoma city and was talking to a record company person on the phone who told him that her sister used to sleep with a roadie who used to work for the cure and he told her that his friend who hangs out at the viper room all the time was talking to the manager of an up and coming rock band that rivers cuomo was working with that their booking agent was saying that she had seen a slip of paper at the golden voice office that had the word "pixies" scrawled on it on the desk of the girl who's making the posters for the festival... and the girl was listening to doolittle at the time on her ipod!
it's gotta be happening!!!

For me, there is nothing that i would like more than to see the Pixies back together, as this would be my only chance to see them live, i am 17 and was too young to appreciate the pixies in their hey day.

I am glad u agree, many older pixies fans do not seem to understand or sympathise with our desperation in wanting to see the greatest band ever, in the flesh.

For the record - I'm 29 years old in the UK and just (just!) missed the Pixies the first time round - slow on the uptake at the time I guess. I've since seen Frank many many times, as well as The Breeders and The Amps, but would give anything to see the Pixies play together. Missing them the first time round is one of my big regrets in life....

I had the Kool Aid man Atari game, believe it or not...parents still have it somewhere in their house. I remember it was very fucked up and hardly functional. I don't think we really figured out exactly how it worked or something to that effect.
