the thread on getting good concert piccies got me thinking what are peoples favourite concert photos (your own or someone elses)?
this thread is not meant to inflate anyones ego - unless yours is obviously the best photo.
well i thought i'd share a favourite of my own.
well actually i have only ever taken my camera to 1 gig cause it's a canon slr thats just annoying to carry.
but the one gig i did take it to was a sleater-kinney concert in Auckland, New Zealand earlier this year.
the concert was fucking amazing and i certainly didn't imagine my photos to come out anything like this - the red spotlight behind corin was pretty unnoticable on the night....made quite an impact on the photo though.
certainly isn't a 'proper' photo, but i think thats what holds the attraction for me......
(on an unrelated note - this gig also cured my hearing loss i had been suffering for the previous 6 months) |
