I've always pictured a music video for South Bay. That being said I've always pitured it to be animated. There has got to be some animators signed up to this forum by now, [Craig McCracken] without mentioning any names. Now that I've said that can anyone else picture this.
On the sidewalk. The shitty sidewalk.
Some Frank Black looking animated figure rolling along trying to get to the place that makes him feel free down by the sea.
I can also see a similar video for the Pixies song Bailey's Walk, only it would be a bum who was having trouble walking, stopping and spinning. ramble...stop!
That movie was pretty good and the animation was wicked. The only complaint I have is that I felt like I was walking through a grocery store looking at a variety of "canned philosoph".
I just wanted to say "canned philosoph".... it's true
