well, i have to say i don't like so much this song... and i think this cover is too simple, it's exactly the same version of dylan, no differences.

I have to say that I was absolutely amazed at the quality of this cover. It is not often that a band can do an already great song justice. I had Changing of the Guard (Dylan), I'm Goin' Down (Springsteen) and The Specials song (title escapes my mind). All these covers were absolutely perfect.
I am really interested to hear what Frank covers on the upcoming album. Apparently word is he covers 5?! Reid Paley is one of them I believe.

bazza - that' s what they made the net for!

I absolutely dig Changing of the Guards - one of the best Dylan songs, and arguably Fb's version is even better than the original. I wish he'll start doing it in concerts.

You can try in Temple Bar (if you are in Dublin). Ask and ye shall receive. We can try and trade over the net if you would like. I have most of Frank's material in my library. Email me if you would like.

Frank's cover is pretty damn good, but it really doesn't add anything to Dylan's masterpiece. Better than the original? - That's insanity.

Jettison, "I'm Going Down" is off the single for Dog Gone. I think it is a great version of the song.

I won this on eBay and just listened to it for the first time. Very nice. Not nearly as good as Dylan's, but still pretty incredible. I would love to hear Frank play this ditty live.

Grieves - I disagree. The Dylan version suffers from the big band, female back up vocalists, etc. FB's version is leaner and meaner, and with a guitar rather than a sax doing the amazing riff - and I like it better. Anyway, why would you call it 'insane'? It's not MUCH better than the Dylan performance, but FB's a better singer than his Bobness, and 'Guards' is not one of those songs that truly require Dylan's unique vocals (unlike, say, Most of the Time or Idiot Wind)
