dude, you're not supporting the nirvana tribute band are you? man, you should point out to the kids just what the deal is there! maybe finish your set with smells like teen spirit, introducing it as "and this was our biggest hit, you've probably heard nirvana's version" 
you should play further up north, get yourself a van and play manchester, i'd be there in a shot.

you can at least say that kurt asked the pixies manager if nirvana open up for them and david lovering said no

Heh, I do appreciate the irony in "The Pixies" supporting "Nirvana", but we're just friends with the band and they've given us loads of help starting out. I'll say how Kurt Cobain said he tried to rip off the Pixies at the show and see how many confused faces in hooded sweatshirts I get..

If I promise to wear my FB & the Caths t-shirt can I get in to the gig free - or does it have to be my death to the pixies shirt?
And where did my rave of your last show at the venue disappear to?

Our "Kim Deal" is a 5 hour train journey away studying history, so it makes touring hard...
The Venue gig may be our last, or at least last with that "Kim". Not sure if we'd be able to find a replacement.
