I saw the Deftones on Saturday night with Poison the Well and Denali. I know I've seen a lot of people mention how they had seen the Deftones live and that they were horrible but I thought they were amazing at least at the show I was at. I thought the show was going to be a lot wilder than it actually was, so I didn't wear my glasses so I couldn't see as well as I would have liked. Their songs tend to blend into one another after awhile but Chino is quite the performer. On the other hand Poison the Well was absolutely horrible and the worst part is there are so many young bands emulating them around here that sound just as bad. Denali was pretty good but not the band that should be booked to open a hardcore show, plus their songs sounded a lot alike but the girl singing for them had a great voice. Has anyone heard of Denali before?

Yeah the heckling was pretty bad for them, but could have been a lot worse. Whoever was doing the lights at this show was great, the lights were especially good during the Denali set.
