Where can a girl get this? I have been reading some great things about this one. Such as the version of I will run and Pan-American! I love the version of I will run on Black Letter Days and would like to hear the other that so many of you guys love even more.
this "album" has become the holy grail of Frank Black stuff.. (although i guess it's debatable that the "lost Trompe mix" could also be a "holy grail")..
It was such a great day when I started discovering that there was FB&C's material floating around that had yet to be released. I struggled to piece it all together but eventually assembled the total package. The effort I put in to obtaining a copy of this has made it my personal holy grail. Although I think I would go to greater lengths to get my hands on the lost Trompe tapes.
<brag> All it took for me to get it is the man himself handing it to Jeremy of The Bennies...I was there when he did it, too. He sat on the floor at the 9:30 Club with us while we ate. That was cool as hell. We were probably the first people to hear it, driving home from DC at 4AM. Note...do not listen to "Sleep" while driving home after a LOOOOOOOONG day. </brag>
El Barto, did you also encode it to mp3, and upload it onto the internet? I got mine from an FTP site in Texas from what appeared to be a school host. I totally can't remember the name of the site. It was encoded to 192kbs and has a distinguishible pop on Sleep around 56 seconds into it. Audiogalaxy's versions weren't as good as the one from Texas.
