ive only heard the solo acoustic version of the song and its pretty cool but i dont think it would be a really standout track in that form. However whenever people mention it after hearing it live with the full band they point it out as being particularly "rockin". So is it faster or heavier or what with the whole band? Im pretty curious and i dont wanna wait 3 more weeks till the philly show to find out:)

Does Manitoba remind anybody else of Pan Merican Highway? I think it has that same kinda vibe.

I think that the song Manitoba reminds me of every song Frank has created. It actually sounded completely different than anything I had heard in a while. It is strong and subtle at times. It speaks of the Aurora Borealis (I think!?). Any song about our fair homeland (for Canadian's) written by a man such as Mr. Black is quite a compliment. Actually reminds me of Gordan Lightfoot meets Mose allison in some peculiar way???!!
