i'm listening to my coworkers coughing and clearing their throats, the steady whoosh of the HVAC, phones ringing, computers and printers and copiers and fax machines whirring, beeping.
occasionally i eavesdrop on a neighbor's phone call.
no music here but the sweet melody of a smoothly-running state-funded video production company.

i was listening to Air on the way into work today, "10,000 Hz Legend"
this album has been doing the trick for me lately. . i love it. very moody and hypnotic and funny.. it's like, totally over the top pretentious on the one hand, but i think semi-tongue-in-cheek too.. "wonder milky bitch".. "people in the city" good stuff.
now i'm listening to the radio.. |

The Raveonettes - The Love Gang
The albums is a solid 6.5. Which really isn't very good, by FB standards. But it's not bad. |

right now this second im listening to a song that I pieced together in cool edit, currently known as sweet song. It's gonna be the sweetest song on my band EP. Not sweet in terms of south park sweet but you know, just sweet in the romantic sense
For ten thousand years he slept, his mind feeding on the nightmares of the weak. Now he has awakened. As the night turned crimson, the fire-blade shattered and his power died. Then, the slaughter began... |

Cool Edit is wonderful. The newest version is Adobe Audition, and has a handful of new features. |
