Inspired by Ed's SMYT vinyl thread, I thought that I'd mention that The Cult of Ray LP came today. Ordered from http://www.rhythm-online.demon.co.uk The color inner sleeve is beautiful, and I'd like to thank Jason for his suggestion on how to find the album. |

is there a pic of the inside art or might you be able to scan it?
are there scanners large enough to scan LPs?

Indeed there are. Large scanners (anything witha surface larger than 8.5 x 11 or 8.5 x 14) are mostly in the professional/commercial domain, however, HP has a new scanner out now that is essentially a pane of glass that you wave in front of an object to scan it. Essentially, you can scan yourself. Just grab the little window, "scan" yourself up and down, and voila, digital you-ness. It's pretty cool. |

Change my pitch up, scan the bitch up. Ah... remember Prodigy? So delighfully provactive... and marketable! Come on, they had a guy who was just a dancer. And he was an honest to goodness member of the band! And seriously, what does "honest to goodness" really mean? And that scanner is not real expensive. It's only about $300 CDN. Totally worth it so we can see the inside of the LP, which, I imagine is just a big head. Which is what we all have inside our CDs, except larger. |

Ya, they suck a bunch. Where are they now, I wonder? I hope that guy with anti-hawk (the opposite of a mohawk) is somewhere in a gutter, clutching his tummy and sobbing gently. |
