does anyone else have a weird superstition about the number 11 11? like, when the time is 11:11. or, in today's case, the date..

Do you know about Coast to Coast AM, floop? Art Bell? Apparently, during "open lines", many people phone in just such a description of just such a phobia. The show is great, if you are ever up real late (not so late on the west coast of course - I think it starts at 11 out there, as a matter of fact ;) ) you should check it out. Really fun.
I don't really have an 11-11 phobia, usually. I usually make a wish on matching numbers on a digital clock. I also make a wish on 7:11, cause that's how much I weighed when I was born, and my Uncle, in a high-minded fugue at the news of the delivery, telegrammed my Mom with "Oh, thank heaven, for 7 11". Some reason I like the juxtaposition of a convenient store jingle and my birth....

I wouldn't call it a superstition but I was always amazed at the number of times I would look at the clock and it would read 11:11. My nephew also mentioned the number 11 "haunted" him. Weird, no?
Sex without love is an empty experience, but as empty experiences go, it's one of the best.

| bwahahahaha! When I read this I thought you were talking about an album called 11:11 by Regina Spektor. I saw her open for the strokes and kings of leon and she was terrible, IMO. Sort of like bjork but worse and with only piano accompaniment. I'd definitely fear that album. What a coinkydink. |

I didn't know it was 11/11...that blew past me. I get somewhat excited over matching dates...like 02/02/02 was cool. I don't know if it's the number thing, or the fact that nobody else is ever going to see a 2/2/2 until 3002.
