My friends and I will start playing FB songs together tomorrow morning. it will be the first time for me and I'll be the singer (I can't play music).
It's really funny because they used to be THE band at my school when we met, we were 17, they just did one gig, splitted and never really played together again. Now we're ten years older and we all have left our little southern city for Paris, we all live with our girlfriends, have real jobs.
We will try Massif Centrale, Back To Rome, Dog Gone.

Ahh. It was great, we played Dog gone, quite well, and Back to Rome too, but the guitar player had some difficulties with the part "Then it goes wro-o-o-ong, wro-o-o-ong". We also played Kings of Leon's Molly's Chamber and Seen The Light by Supergrass.

I was really proud that my friends appreciated my singing on Back to Rome.

We tried Massif Centrale, but we will play it another day. A bit too complex for our first time since ages.

Cool! If I may suggest some FB songs that are both a)cool and b)easy to play/sing:

1) Cold Heart of Stone
2) Big Red
3) White Noise Maker
4) Jumping Beans
5) Pray a Little Faster (you might be able to nail this on a first try)
6) True Blue / Jane the Queen of Love (these two are forever joined, I can't do True Blue without following it with Jane)
7) Adda Lee / Everytime I Go Around Here (same reason)
8) Superabound (Cartland's FB Tribute b-side that was tragically overlooked)

Ah, man, I wish we could only play FB, but my friends that play all instruments are kind enough to play three FB songs. you know I'm just the singer....
Later I think I'll try to convince them to play Pray A Little Faster 'cause I'd like to try my voice on this one ( ...Pray a little faster, Come on!").

The guitarist seems to want some AC/DC,Bass player wants Red Hot and the drummer just don't care.
