Man. Have you guys ever done something just so stupid that you get wired about it?
I was getting rid of some old/expired software off of my computer. As I was looking around I saw a strangely named object from a strange Code Base and it was labeled as 'Unknown.' So I deleted faster than something that is really fast. I rebooted my 'puter and I tried to play some FB on my Media Player. Well it all froze up. Then I went to http://www.linkdup.com and the flash content was taking a very long time to...flash... and I had no volume. I was like whaa? I rebooted my computer once again. Same shit! Wha whaa? I ran my virus scan, spyware detector, nothing. Wha whaa what!? So now I was getting really wired up. I started re-installing MacroMedia Flash Player, IE browser, media player, then I kind of recalled that the strange object said something about 'X.' So I started browsing for ActiveX files and no websites looked correct then luckily I stumbled across a DirectX link and I was like oh yeah. I downloaded DirectX 9.0 and I restarted the PC clicked a small song file and 'You’re such a wire' rang out!
Take some advice from me people; do not erase anything that you do not know 100% about beforehand. I thought my world was over without flash and audio.
