Yeah, I meant fruit to go with the cheese, but after apples I just kind of wandered off track to my favorite fruit. Definitely pears & grapes with that cheese though.

Yeah, navel oranges and cheese doesn't sound particularly appealing.

I like strawberries most of all. Not with cheese though.

what exactly is a "bap" anyway? i spent some time in ireland this summer and "baps" seemed to be on every menu... is it short for something? i know it's some kind of sandwich, but where does "bap" come from?

A bap is a round roll or a cob depending on which part of the UK you hail from. Baps where I come from. Cobs from the North and Midlands (I think). Rolls for the posh types down south.

Watermelon and cherries and pomogranites (sp?) are my favorites. Anyone eat the latter? They're excellent but they fucking stain your skin and everything else.
