Waow !
I was yesterday at the FB & Catholics show in Toulouse and it was really great ! That's the sixth times I saw Frank and it's quite different each time.
The sound was really good, the crowd quite static at the beginning but more involved after.

The playlist looks like that : (not in order)
Nadine
Hermaphroditos
Bullet
Jane the queen of love
Velouria
Cactus
Caribou
Massif Centrale
California Bound
New house of the Pope
Robert Onion
Cold Heart of Stone
When whill happiness find me again
I want Rock'n'roll
Velvety
All my ghosts
The Black Rider
The Snake
Where is my mind
My favorite kiss
Sixty-six (yes !)
Monkey gone to heaven
Nimrod's son

It was the first time (I think) they played six Pixies songs ! Frank seems really happy and in good mood. The show was short (82mn) and without any songs of the two first records (no Headache or Freedom Rock) but there was no break at all between the songs. Rich Gilbert was completely crazy as usual !
After the show, Frank went out through the crowd and two lucky guys were able to have their cd's dedicated...
That was a very nice and noisy evening, great moments were Robert Onion, Bullet, Massif Centrale, Velouria & Caribou and the finish with Nimrod's son.

Amazing show.
The best I've ever been to.

But I've gotta start with the flaws.
* The Moshing wankers. How I hate those guys.
A couple of retards ruin the show for the majority of the crowd.
NO, moshing IS NOT "getting involved". It's an insult to the band and the audience.
* Serafin : The band who was too loud. Plus they sucked.
* Even FB's show was too loud. What's the point of making people deaf?
* Finally, the major flaw of the show : Its length. Only 1h20.

Anyway, here goes the playlist, in order except for New house of the pope.

Nadine
All my ghosts
The Snake
Velvety
Hermaphroditos
I love rock n roll
CACTUS
Cold heart of stone
Bullet
Jane
Will happiness
?New house of the pope
Robert Onion
Massif Central
Velouria
Caribou
666
Monkey
---
encore:
My favourite Kiss
Where is my mind?
NIMROD SON
Black Rider

The first 7 songs were amazing. Such an energetic start.
I'm not a big fan of Hermaphroditos but you've got to hear it live.
After breaking two strings on I love rock n roll, Frank played Cactus on the two lower strings and then swapped for his Takamine.
But I was a bit disapointed by Cold heart of Stone, probably because Rich Gilbert slaughtered it.
I'm not gonna make friends here but Rich actually slaughters most of the songs. (Lyle come back!)

Every songs were better than the album versions.
Pixies tunes have never been played that well.
The Pixies are not dead for Frank Black is alive.

I think that the lead parts of Lyle on Cult of Ray are slaughtering the songs.

On FB and the C's debut he's way better.
Rich plays less than Lyle or more to the point in my opinion
