I put a couple of posts on there as you've probably seen pleasure and so far everyone's been Ok. Maybe their getting used to new members joining or something.

I noticed - they will probably react more the more you post, or the longer you stick around. Shakey challenged cheeseman as to his really being in the UK in cheeseman's initial thread, but cheeseman hasn't taken the bait yet.

I have this forum, and the wesh forum up at the same time: I'm really starting to get confused...

shakey finch, for those who are curious, is really from the UK. he makes beats and i don't know what else.
Seinoritis is a friend of mine who now lives in Oregon. i wouldn't worry about upsetting anyone on the WESH - outside of obviously hateful or racist comments, they've all got pretty thick skins.
Some suggestions to further confuse people:
Sweet Boy Guy runs lunchboxing.com - you could always say you found the WESH off of there. People frequently post comments there when the WESH is crashed (doesn't really happen anymore).
Burritos are very popular - including arguing about what constitutes a burrito, what is or isn't a good burrito, etc.
Phantasm Ballsack has a very strong vocabulary, raps, and often drinks to a point approaching comatose.

Right, apl, screw with their minds a bit. Tell them that a Sunderland burrito consists of something wierd. Like donkey or something, or maybe whippet. And start discussing Newkie Brown, I believe we have a mutual affection for the Broon Ale.

I didn't, which doesn't bode well. THey are a curious bunch, though, so you never know. BTW, if I start questioning you about recent UK events will you panic or bluff?

By the way, apl, where are you from? I'll try and throw you a couple of frickin' bones, there. You're doing pretty well with the Sunderland thing so far...

I honestly think 90% of them are so convinced that you two are me pretending to be you that they don't believe it at all, and are just making a collective shrug. They'll come around eventually.
Needless to say, it has been quite entertaining watching you two wreak havoc on the wesh.

Do you think they've given up being paranoid? - they seem to have accepted you just fine, now, and I'm just an irritating schizo ;). I'll try the newkie and burrito thing, if I see a good opening.

Cheeseman/Apl
I'm intending to join you on WESH but my internet connection has gone belly up. Sodding Virgin dot bloody net are updating their servers and I can only get a very fleeting connection at the moment (unless I get up early in the moring and I'm not doing that!). Very frustrating. Looks like you're having some fun. I'll try to drop in whilst at work next week.
Cheers

Cheers, Cheeseman, for some reason I skipped over your post last night - I was pretty wiped out. I'm originally from Kentucky (city called Louisville), then Chicago, IL, now Columbus, OH.
I'm trying my best with this Sunderland thing, but I also want to keep em guessing, so I try to seem like I'm fumbling a bit as well. They pretty much believe you now, cause you're so convincing, and that does bugger all (sorry, just practicing ;) ) for the paranoia factor on you, but is a great foil for the rest of us (especially if Barney comes in soon). Then we can whack em over the head with a well-turned fumble on your part, or if we start acting like we are Pleasure. I just wonder which characters are Pleasure's, ya know? ;) |

Beats me completely. Let me know when your grand scheme is complete and I'll do my bit. I'm watching Carry On Screaming on Channel 4 at the moment, if you want to throw that in: "Frying tonight!"

"Frying tonight!" wtf is that? Oh I'm gonna crash and burn, I can see it all clearly now ;) No grand scheme, sorry. I just figured that was how it would play out. geesh. I was actually feeling a bit lost over there lately. Especially with my lack of hip-hop and rap skillz. |

All you need to about rapping is that you need two people walking in opposite directions across the stage, then turning around and going the other direction. Try it with a friend, using reasonably long strides, you know what I'm talking about.
"Frying tonight!" Do you not know Carry On movies? Do you not know anything? "Ooh, matron"

Nope. I plead ignorance, and bow down to your awesome omniscience. I have no f'ing idea what you're talking about with the rapping explanation. Unless you meant barbed wire in that one part. |

Try it with a friend, pretending you're shouting into a microphone: you'll be 50 Cent in no time.
And really, how do you expect to convince anyone you're English if you don't know your Carry On movies. In fact, I'm gonna call everybody faking Englishness on the wesh board right now.

Easy tiger. Really, though, you should check out Carry On movies, they're an institution. They contain probably the least subtle innuendos and double entendres ever put to celluloid.
Also, the difference is that I wouldn't want to be an American

Well, it looks like you've grown bored of the experiment. Thanks for the effort, unfortunately it didn't turn out as fun as I expected. You did liven up the WESH for a little while, though.
You're always welcome.

I had a little dabble but it is difficult to focus on more than one forum at a time (for me anyway).
Notwithstanding this, WESH just don't have enough topics with yellow and orange as a theme. I avidly follow every new FB forum topic relating to colours (each one ever so slightly different to the last). |
