I'm sure you wouldn't want to discuss things with a total stranger but, in addition to glacial, I'd be more than willing to talk to you about it; God knows I've been fucked up enough times.
One thing though, not to be a parent, be careful with the alcohol. Depression and alcohol, though seemingly a perfect match, lead to bigger issues.

heh, well I'm not sure about that. I'm only 21 but I've gone through a lot of depression and think I've figured out a thing or two about living happily . . . for the most part. I surely don't have it all figured out though.

Overall, I'm much happier than I was when I was a teenager. Or, maybe I'm just better able to deal with it now. I don't know. Alot of it has to do with having a kid. You may still be depressed sometimes, but you HAVE to just get over it unless you want your kid to suffer.

Snoochie Boochies etc. is Kevin Smith shit yes, the quintilogy trilogy. It all stems from Jay and his real life personality. Apparently it all started as something you say as a disclaimer, yet it is nonsensical. Like "I am going to kick you ass, Nooch..." Nooch means just kidding... If you haven't seen the DVD "AN Evening with Kevin Smith" I suggest watching it... I own it... it's a documentary of his his college tours and speeaches and shit...
and prooves to me how dumb college kids are...

I'm not sure how fair a statement that is but I think it's true that they tend to wallow in it more and even pride themselves on it. It's a very complicated matter concerning the ego that can't be deconstructed easily.
