I just heard about this tribute album. Who's heard it? Do you recommend it?

It came out after the WIMM? tribute I believe. I think James Barnard's band has a cover on the album.

James Barnard kindly sent me a copy of this album. It's like every tribute record, ie half the covers are good and the other half aren't. I don't listen much to it, but it does have some great tracks.

No. The Japanese Tribute is called "Tribute to the Pixies" and I strongly recommend it.
