I must same I am utterly disgusted with the quality of the t-shirts available on the Uk tour. I wore mine 3 or 4 times and washed it twice and already the frank is completely unreadable and im sure the catholics will follow very soon. £13 for a terrible shoddy piece of shit. I've paid £8 for t-shirts that I bought years ago and still look newer than my piece of shit frank black one.

"Here frank have my £13 I do not want it"

Frank goes to take it

You get the idea.

I paid £4-50 to a man outside the Astoria for mine! Its doing fine so far, I have mostly been employing it to rub in the fact that I went to see Frank Black and they didn't, har har har.

What's on the shirt? Or what was on the shirt? As in logos and stuff.

That's a bummer. I have two Catholics shirts (both over 2 years old) and one hasn't faded at all, and on one the logo and lettering is kinda of peeling off.

They're black w/the SMYT cover art on the front and UK tour dates on the back. Em (ramona) was sweet enough to send me one, and it's stylin'. I'll have to be extra-careful with it.

Give 1000 monkey's 1000 typewriters and you're gonna be reading bullshit for the rest of your life.

Be thankful he had the opportunity to feel cheated? Isn't that the problem?!

I've never had a problem with t-shirts bought inside a show but then I've never paid $20 or more, either. I'd be upset, too.

The FB and the C's t-shirt I got was only 12 bucks. The other one was a gift so I don't know how much it was.

These are the UNOFFICIAL bootleg shirts - so hopefully they aren't the same crap quality of the REAL shirt. How ironic. On the OFFICIAL shirt is a FRANK BLACK AND THE CATHOLICS logo and four of the little cats in a row.

Hey Malax, do you turn your shirt inside-out when you wash & dry it? That usually helps diminish the destruction of the artwork.

Yeah I (mummy) always irons inside-out. Thank You BLT. I got one yes I am 'lucky' but I'd rather have £13 than a t-shirt im only gonna be able to wear another couple of times. Plus whats so great about a, & the catholics t-shirt, soon to be a holics t-shirt.

Hey, at least be happy you HAVE a FB&TCs shirt. I'd take one no matter how bad the quality since I don't have any.

Nothing will make me happy about this. If you like NimrodsSon I'll send you it when its faded so much that its just a black t-shirt (about 2 weeks) £10 for a Frank Black t-shirt, I'd say thats a bargain. Alternatively you could go out and buy a black t-shirt and pretend it used to be a Frank t-shirt. Whatever makes you happy.

OK if it's that bad I see your point. If anyone wants to send me one besides one like Malax's in M or L I'll give you whatever you paid for it plus postage (in US cash).

Welcome to the forum MRSHOW from another GAite. I'm in Snellville which is like 2 hours or something like that from Rome

...or I have a fairly decent collection of FB bootlegs and I'll trade as many discs as you want for a shirt (as long as it's reasonable)

Now there is a good guy! Very good advice Mr. Yen. I also suggest that you do this, Malax...of course with a new shirt...

You could take your fading t-shirt to a t-shirt maker and have redo the design.

I'm going to pretend all my t-shirts were once frank black t-shirts, I find that genius.

I have 2. FB&C gold with little guys on it, and Pistolero, with the red cowboy shootin the moon, looks russian, and says the band name really tiny on the back. Before I cut my hair you couldn't see that part.

i want the new offical one, and smyt on vinyl too... Maybe santa claue will be more creative than coal this year : ) I write him a letter and make sure he delivers my smyt shirt inside out to insure it's longevity.

The only way I would hang it on the wall is if I had 2. T-shirts are meant to get old and shitty. I like wearing shitty t-shirts. I know a lot of people who perfer the shitty t-shirt, but an entirely faded design that peels off that you paid a lot of money for: SUCKS. Sorry to hear that.

Thank you all for your support through this difficult time. I think I've got through the worst of it, there were some lows (thank god for that friendly skinhead on the bridge) but with your help I did it!

I've learnt to never buy shitty Frank Black products again. I've since thrown both my t-shirt and Cult Of Ray away.

Not really....

Try the weezer forum:

Some great threads:

2. Garbagemen

3. The dish and the spoon

You can't get much better than that. The air temperature one is pure genius...a constantly changing factor guaranteeing perpetual posting.
