Has anyone seen this. It sucked ass. The only one I cared for was The Detective Story and that one I loved.

A friend told me it was available for free download but I've only found it streames here: http://www.intothematrix.com/

Does anyone have an mpeg version or know how to save this file?

I agree it is not very good.

Who's the man that won't cop out when there's danger all about?

I thought it was okay, but most of what makes those movies is the CGI. I do think alot of the CGI is good, but that's about it. I think my favorite was the detective story, too, but most people who have seen it like that one the least. I guess they just don't appreciate the foray into the realm of noir that the Animatrix took when they did that segment.

I saw Dreamcatcher in the the theatre earlier this year. I had read the Stepehen King novel, whose work I do enjoy from time to time, especially The Shining. I'm not sure whether King should be a guilty pleasure or not, though I'm certain amongst most literary buffs, it would be a sin to enjoy his contemporary pop culture extravaganza. There was an Animatrix piece that played before the movie, and throughout the entire duration of it, I wanted to hurl. The plot was nonexistent, I'm not impressed by CGI (I can always tell that it's fake by both movement and the way they portray light reflections), and I just felt humiliated to be exposed to about 10 minutes of this crap, especially in a theatre full of people. It was just as bad as advertisements for beverages or cars before films. I agree with Todd Solonz that having commercials before a presentation is one of the major problems with cinema these days, and I see the animatrix as being the same thing as this. It was so flashy, but in no way bold, and was just flat out vapid.
