True and unfortunate. I happened to find myself in one of those self-contained, temperature controlled, all-purpose retail centres.....what are they called, oh yeah - the mall. I just happened to be passing by the Gap and thought that I was beginning to lose my mind because I heard 'Men In Black' being played ever so soothingly over the store's speaker system. I swear that I thought I would start smelling burning toast soon thereafter. Now I hang out at the mall and buy at least $100/week at the Gap because I know that that is what Frank wants me to do!

| There was that talk show, Late Night with Zach which featured Los Angeles as its theme song. That was pretty wild. Then of course that whole deal with Frank Black being booked, but never being on it. |

None of these 2 are Catholics songs... I don't think I've ever heard any FB&Cs songs coming from elsewhere than my stereo.

In a dream...actually different songs in several dreams over the years...a couple of times he was even playing new ones...sounded good too, but couldn't remember well enough to play when I awoke.

| Unfortunately the strangest place that I have heard a Catholics song (outside of my house, or on my walkman) is at a Catholics gig.... not very strange but FB & C are not really well know in Britain... if you ask someone in the street, 'who are FB & C?' then they will probably give you a very strange look and wander off. Frank doesn't get any radio play in England, or not that Ive heard anyway... Ive heard Pixies in strange places but then theres another thread about this topic. But thats cool, Ilike the way the Catholics are... |
