I always love my husband's dreams. His most recent involved Jack Nicholson, interpretive dance, a bet in a bathroom and Jack's subsequent transformation into a loaf of banana bread.
Me: Was he still Jack?
Bob: Yep.
M: Wow, that's good acting. Was he Jack-sized bread or just regular
bread-sized bread?
B: Little bread. Later he turned into a Baby Ruth bar and then I kinda lost track of him.
M: You ate him, didn't you?
B: There was a lot of confusion once we got to the ballroom full of
frou-frou old ladies. I got distracted.
M: You're evading me.
B: Well, I did eat A fun-sized Baby Ruth bar at one point, but I don't think it was THE Baby Ruth bar. The Jack one.
M: Then where'd he go?
B: He got away.
M: Yeah, right. Murderer.

That was the best exchange I've read in a long time. I had to read it to my roomate. I think the tone says a lot about your marriage. I'm willing to bet you're very happy; I hope so.

:-) Thanks. We're pretty happy folk, if chronically sleep-deprived. (That probably explains the weird dreams more than anything!)
One morning, years ago, Bob was giggling in his sleep and hugging me, saying, "Hold me tight, Lyle." Then he'd snicker some more and say it again. He clearly thought that he was being very clever. He later revealed that in his dream, he was having a conversation with Lyle Alzado, but he knew that it was really me in the form of Lyle Alzado. He was trying to trick me into a confession, hence his smugness. That Bob's an odd one.

Heh heh, you cats are hysterical. That first exchange could be right out of a really cool comedy entitled: Jack - We Hardly Ate Ye. Starting none other than an all Jack cast including Mr. Black, Mr. Nicholson, and more. When the cards are down, it's good to have a jack of all trades. Coming soon, only in theatres.
