I went out with this girl nancy, I met her online, we went to dennys, bowling and borders. She beat me at bowling. I took her to borders cause there was no where else to go at 10pm in new jersey. I kissed her and we're going out again. BOO YAH! I sang Fazer Eyes at the top of my lungs on the ride home, teenager of the year never sounded so good.

Nevermind why you took her to Borders, why did you take her to Dennys?
Oh well, you still have her so that's what matters. Good job.

Does she like Frank Black? I imagine you were listening to TOTY while you were driving around with her because you sung Fazer Eyes on the way home.

No, no, the Dennys is a good move--very low pressure. Plus you can laugh at the menu--they got Moons Over My Hammy. (Why do all the breakfast places have the fruity names for things?) My honey and I had our first date (or the closest thing we ever had to one) at The Waffle House. Carbs=loove.

Good job with the date. I hope it works well for you.
I met my girlfriend at my solo show. She watched me do Pixies covers and scream at the top of my lungs for 2 long hours, 100% acoustically.
She's in law school.
A future lawyer is in love with my slack-jawed-bumfuck-retardedly witty-goofy-addict etc. -self. That shit feels good.
And one of the best parts is she is Lebonese, (I should learn how to spell that huh?) and I am german, hungarian, irish/french canadian, so I'm told. Makes for great sex.
I love my girlfriend.

We took seperate cars and met at dennys in case one of us wanted to flee. So since we were in seperate cars she didn't really hear any frank black. She's and emo-y girl so of course she knows the pixies but nothing abou frank black.
jim
For the second date I'm picking her up. |

Ahh, Dennys. I love Dennys. In high school, it would be the place to go. I had many a fun times at Dennys. Good call on the Dennys.

Moons Over My Hammy, that's what almost always order at Denny's (it's a tasty little greaseball). My wife always rolls her eyes when I say it to the waitress, but what's a guy to do that's the name.
When drunk in college I was known to badger my friends into taking me Denny's by yelling Moons Over My Hammy. Ahh good times. |

No I agree, most emo girls know the Pixies. Did you see the Pixies tribute album?? Emo central.
One time I played an emo girl Joy Division and she said it sounded like a rip of of Interpol. HA I laughed..and cried at the same time. |

Just a crappy all night breakfast place that's huge in the states and generally only survives here because it's one of the few things open after the bars are closed / for the night shift workers. Seems to be a lot more popular in the states.
As you might guess, I almost never eat there, but I think that Moon Over My Hammy is just eggs & ham.

I don't remember Eggs Benedict at Denny's and I use to regularly enjoy Eggs Benedict until the Kitchen Confessionals guy pointed out that Hollandaise sauce is a breeding ground for bacteria if it sits around (which it probably does at most brunch/breakfast places). |

Contrary to what people think, the food at Denny's is actually good. I enjoy it, at least. It's more than just a "24 hour breakfast place." It's a 24 restaurant. Not fancy at all, though. They're all over the US, too. Great place to hang out.

I like Denny's, and Moons Over My Hammy is good food, regardless of what it's called. I usually do get breakfast there, since it's one of the few places you can while I'm actually awake.
