Hey everyone, I've ben here before, reading the posts, but never bothered to actually join - until today :)
Anyhow, I catch FB whenever I can - seen him live probably five or six times so far. You never know when I'll see him next :)
I am enjoying the new CD, Frank never lets you down, you know? Some of the reviews are annoying me somewhat, why do they have to praise new work by knocking old work? It is what it is, dammit.
Anyhow, on the topic of a possible Pixies reunion - Well, I love the Pixies stuff, I really do. My wife is an even bigger fan, and just wants the chance to se them liev once in our lives (missed them when they were together). However, I have a niggling thing in th back of my head that says it would all be a shame, a little step back. The Deal sisters have brought us some great stuf on their own (Kelley Deal 2000 are something else!) And of course we have Frank himself, putting out marvel after marvel. What do we gain from a Pixies reunion other than the chance to see them live, I guess. I think I'm siding with wanting more from each of them, individually, then bothering with their getting together again.
And hey Frank! last time you gave me TWO - that's TWO Cd's at once. That was far too much to ask for, since they were both great. But what's with the measly single CD this time? I know you got a ton of stuff in that head of yours. ;) |
