How many people like the manic rate at which Frank is currently releasing new music?

Personally, I love it and wouldnÕt mind buying a new album every month.

Or maybe a song a week would be a good pace...Frank could upload them to the web as soon as heÕs finished writing them and we could purchase and download immediately.

Yep, and it would be cool if he started to release one live album per tour as well :)

I agree, the more he churns out the better..... but I'm not too sure about releasing albums / songs downloadable from the internet as my computer is shite, I haven't got a cd burner and I can't afford to get a better one. An album a year is cool, if he keeps that up I'll be very impressed.

I've always been annoyed with the deliberate production of the eponymous first album, so I would love to hear it in a pared down form. That won't happen, nor do I think it should, for purity's sake.

Bring on the music! I'll gladly give frank my hard earned cash any time he wants to release a disc. How about a DVD! Now were talking. Heard rumur about a pixies DVD in '03

I'll buy anything he does... cd's, dvd's etc etc... but not downloadable shit as that cuts out the people who don't have the equipment.

Hasn't Frank said that he wishes he had done more work on Trompe Le Monde? Maybe the Catholics should rerecord it (even though it is my all-time favorite album).

i doubt he would do that, he would probably say that was a different band and shouldn't mess with it now.

chip away boy- interesting point about trompe le monde... channel 4 (english TV station) showed a really excellent doc on pixies before - with people like bowie, U2, richard fearless and badly drawn boy talking about how the pixies influenced their work.. anyway - charles said that at that time of TLM he started to feel that the spontaneity was not there like it was two years earlier.. and said that he didnt regret recording those songs.. he only regretted not re-recording them! maybe maybe maybe. i still like TLM - motorway to roswell is beautiful.

cheers lads

Trompe Le Monde, although widely thought of as the least great of the superb Pixies albums, in my opinion still shits on most of the wank that was released in the 90's.....
