| At work they pipe in the radio and switch stations every hour. I'm getting so tired of all of it but especially the local "classic" rock station. It's supposed to be the "manly, hard-rocking" station but along with all the white trash anthems they play so much faggy shit. EVERY DAY I hear that fucking "Logical Song". Who at any time could have ever liked that song? Does anyone else want to erase that song from the universe? Does anyone have a "classic" rock song that they hate and wish they could get rid of? |

"taking care of business" is a disgusting song. I'll never stop hating it.
Here's some more songs that shouldn't exist:
"another brick in the wall" children shouldn't sing in rock music.
"sweet home alabama" and all their other shitty songs
that grand funk railroad song "I'm your captain" or something like that.
"dream on" aerosmith
"we will rock you" queen
all those lame faggy songs by the Eagles make me sick, especially "take it easy" and that other one that I can't even think of right now but it's almost disco. I don't know. |

anything by Queen but in partcular inuendo

Great topic, I'm sick to tears of all my friends blasting these "classic RAWK" songs on the radio.
Boston--More than a Feeling--just unbearably awful vocals.
for the record, I HATE 70's AOR double/triple tracked vocals (this also applies to Queen, I can't stand it when they do that, although as a band they aren't bad)
"All Night Long" by Free...gag, it was cool at first, now it's just awful.
and finally...my pick for the worst song ever recorded that everyone I know loves....
Cat's in the Cradle. Sorry guys, this is lyrically one of hte worst songs ever written...it's so LAME. "could I have them please?" |

My local "classic rock" station is starting to play a lot of Ramones for some reason, which I find really cool. Unfortunately they're also playing a lot of CKY, which begs the question how exactly is CKY classic? I'd have to say that I'd never want to hear them on the classic stations again, I also turn it off whenever I hear anything by Zeppelin, everyone should hear the "I Hate Led Zeppelin" song by Screeching Weasel, if you dislike Zeppelin at all this song is hilarious. Personally I prefer to stick to the oldies stations at least around here they play such a better collection, but mostly in between CDs I have the classical/folk music station tuned in.

i saw this rhcp/metallica/ratm cover band cover "...free world".
they sang it completely out of tune. i mean, the chorus was just made up of the wrong notes completely. i didn't think it could be possible.
