Do I ever hate John Mayer. That's all we need -- another boring-as-shit Dave Matthews clone, college rock shit-head. Unfortunately, my girlfriend loves him and makes me stop on Much Music...uh, I mean MTV whenever his video is on. When I hear the lyrics "your body is a wonderland" I feel like cracking open a pack of Fender .011s and hanging myself from a lamp post.
He's not even a half-decent guitar player like Dave Matthews sort of is and he looks like K.D. Lang with wax lips. He also looks stupid with a guitar 'cause he's like five feet tall and makes a Strat look like a cello on a guitar strap.
Why does the record industry feel the need to put out BORING shit like this? No wonder CD sales are down again. Haven't they learned anything? The people want screaming guitars! |

I too hate john mayer, however, I love the stick figure pictures above, they made me laugh.
I too think he is a dave mathews rip off, and a poor one at that. I only like dave's 1st 2 or 3 cd's. I stopped liking dave around 1995.
