Went to see young Frank at the Cockpit in Leeds England on tuesday night... It was nice to hear the odd Pixies number, as and when Frank chose to serve them up; but the most heartwarming moment was when some dick screamed "Play some f*cking Pixies!" or something similar. A significant proportion of the audience shouted "Shut the f*ck up!"

Holy crap, for some reason this thread made me think that Frank would make the most terrific Blues Brother. What made me think of that? Was Jake or Elwood from Englewood? But don't you all think Frank would be a most superior Blues Brother? I can't think of anything more perfect.

I think Frank had lost weight on this tour.... On the "Dog in the sand" tour his gut was so huge you would have sworn he was American!

I have to say that David McAffrey wore a most unfortunate hat at the Leeds gig. Picture.... I dunno..... Donny Osmond circa Early 70's!

Can I just say, Robert Onion... Fantastic.

My Five-year-old loves Frank. He's named after him, and another Frank; the one out of Iain Banks' "The Wasp Factory".
