| Yeah, he would play here in my town only a few blocks from me at least once every couple of years, and I am now kicking my own ass severely for not ever being able to make it. There's a slew of new rockabilly and surf musicians out there, but Ronnie Dawson was one of the few remaining ones that had actually been around since the fifties. The only others that I can think of are Hasil Adkins, and Link Wray, whom I did see, and will be severely bummed when he passes.... |
