That's some drunken boxing. I've never been punched, though I have received my share of slaps. Men and women. :)
And people attempting to punch as they are ejected from the pub but being somewhat on the slow side having had way too much to drink. I suppose I've been punched at, just never connected with.

Yeah, that would've been it for him. What a moron, and I've never met him. I don't know why I would shut-up, I'd be the last person to make fun of your nose. Well, second last. Unless you're referring to 'got it' implying a near miss of a sexual episode with the sister. That would've been hot.

I just skipped through all the shit to post my proof that I may not be the biggest FB fan, but I definitely deserve a spot in top 3 or 5 biggest FB geeks. My qualifications:
1. Owner of the AbstractPlain
2. Co-founder and co-maintainer of FB.net (and the guy who suggested the domain name fb.net...that was a toughy)
3. Former member of the excellent rock outfit The Bennies, who toured with FB in Nov 2002 and played 2 shows in 2000
3. Met The Bennies for the first time in 2000 when they opened up for FB
4. Hung out backstage at 5 out of the 6 FB shows I've been to.
5. Watched half of one of the 6 shows from FB&TC's own balcony (9:30 Club)
6. Met my current girlfriend for the first time (long before we got together) before the above-mentioned show
7. Moved to PA to be a part of The Bennies (who I met through the AbstractPlain)
8. Overlord of the FB song database, the ultimate resource of information on FB's songs (with special mention going to the creator of a former song DB, Gavin)
I think Bohemoth would have to be in the top 3-5 as well, because I think he's gone to more FB shows than anyone here, and FB knows him by name, etc. etc...I'll let him speak for himself.

Reasons Dave should probably be up there, countering Jim's claim to fame:
1. Described as a 'cool young man' on the BBC by Frank Black.
2. Owner of FB.Net
3. Founder of the Noisies (what does this have to do with Frank, I don't know).
4. Never played in the Bennies (see note for no. 3)
5. Direct links to both Mr. Goes and Mr. Black
6. Single (single guys deserve more credit than what I affectionately refer to as 'the lucky SOBs')
7. Canadian
8. Overlord of all the FB.Net sections

I think I could definitely take Dave's vegan bitchass. He doesn't have a complete, well-rounded diet a meat eater such as myself does. His bones are brittle, his muscles are stringy. One punch and he'll be eating whatever material the bottom of the ring is made of. I could alternately throw a hamburger at his face and it's 1 2 3 down for him.
