So pre- Astoria gig anyone fancy a FB.NET type meet in the Angel at St. Giles Circus (its just down a side road from the Astoria charing cross road area, is cheap and stocks 2 types of Guiness!)
Thinking I'll head straight there from work; should be at the bar by 6.30, doing the obligatory FB & The C's T-shirt I reckon...

If I can find it. Generally my navigational skills are piss poor; however, when it comes to sniffing out pubs....
...where the Ballyhoos and the Tritons are. |

What time is the gig going to start? People have been saying EARLY and that is my only concern. I must be in the front! It seems like it would end early too, if people are interested in doing something AFTER.

Um, I don't know. Some of us could stand around outside - but I think we might be cold. |

It's not that I am dying for a good view (although I am glad to know that you can get one from many places inside) it is that I like to be CLOSE TO THE ACTION. I am weird that way. |

We'll try and make it - depends on the poxy flights etc. If I get my laundry done from the Dublin gig - I'll be in a light brown FB+C t-shirt (along with trousers, shoes etc, obviously).
I won't be drinking a pint of Guinness unless I bring one over with me with clingfilm over the top of it! |

As regards cling film, whatever floats your boat my friend...
As regards drinking I *think* that I shouldn't be too hard to spot since I'm guessing there aren't too many women in the vacinity sporting SMYT t-shirts - the drink was just a bonus pointer...

I think yours was 'Ayenbrew'! (The German version of the Scottish classic).
Mine was 'Pantz' (The German version of Badger Bitter).
Leah's was Bisto Stout - one lump ot two? |
